In addition to DataManager's standard metrics, you can create your own custom metrics and user-defined variables to extend your analysis options even farther. 

Custom metrics are text, numeric, single- and multi-selection fields you create to store data of interest to your organization. Combine numeric metrics to form user-defined variables such as "defects per peer review" or "effort hours per module".  Your metrics are available for display on project reports or graphs in SLIM-Metrics.
